Colonia Chiapaneca Siglo XXI

The Chiapas XXI neighborhood is located in the municipality of Benito Juárez, about 20 kilometers from Cancun in a northwestern direction; approximately 275 people live there. It is undoubtedly one of the most underdeveloped areas in the northern part of the state, which is why Cancun Concierge and some other private companies and associations have decided to support them with economic and in-kind resources in order to help improve the quality of life of its inhabitants and, in our case, the children.

POPULATION

In the town there are 139 men and 126 women. The female/male ratio is 0.978, and the fertility rate is 3.18 children per woman. Of the total population, 75.27% come from outside the state of Quintana Roo, 11.64% of the population is illiterate (6.47% of men and 16.91% of women). The degree of schooling is 4.98% (5.53 in men and 4.61 in women).

In total there are 11 houses. Of them, 4.55% have electricity, do not have mains water, 83.33% have a toilet or toilet, 42.42% radio, 33.33% television, 3.03% refrigerator, 3.03% washing machine, 13.64% car, 60.61% have a cell phone and do not have a personal computer, internet or landline.
